Rachel Farmer



Rachel graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2018 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Biophysics. In the Summer of 2016 Rachel worked for Prof. John T. Groves at Princeton University working on purification and characterization of a protein (TRK1).  In the Summer of 2017 Rachel worked for Prof. Rudiger Ettrich at the Center for Nanobiology and Structural Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Nové Hrady, Czech Republic.  Rachel also worked at USI for Dr. Edmir Wade to develop a method for the systematic purification of APIs from herbal remedies.  Rachel has plans to study post-translational modification enzymes.
